I just realized I forgot to do Thursdays fun filled day!! We made these adorable Cows for the letter C that I found on this super cute blog Crafts by Amanda.  I decided not to do legs...a little over a preschoolers head.  I started them off with a nose and the shapes of the spots and let them fill in the rest.  I think they turned out super cute!
Sadly it's been 5 days since Thursday and to be honest I can not remember what we did the rest of the day...but I guarantee it was fun and educational!!

I hope at home you are enforcing the letters of the week.  Good activities are to point out the things you find that start with the letter of the week.  For example, "There's a cat, does c-c-c-cat starts with C?" It is a little early to quiz them on, "does dinosaur start with C?" You'll just confuse them! They aren't quit there yet...give them time.  Story time is a great time time for teaching opportunities! Hunt for the letter, point out the letter C's.  Ask them to count the duck's on the page, ask them if they can find something red?
Now that September is over, we are moving onto a new shape, color and number but repetition is always helpful.  Continue finding the circles, the number 2 and red when your are out and about!
