Week 5 highlights: B is for Brown Bear

Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? Is the perfect book to work on colors with!  We made these great books, where we had to match up the words to the colors.  I found these printables from an old curriculum folder that was going to be thrown out with all the schools closing.  A nice friend saved it for me and it has given me some great ideas for the year!  I put a small colored line on each animal and underlined each word with the color and they went from there.  They colored all the animals the right color, then they cut them all out, then glued them into their book.  Which I admit was not the best idea.  I should have broken this up into two days. A coloring, matching, cutting and gluing activity was a little much for one sitting!  But they all finished with very little help, I was proud!

I found some great fine motor/color activities online (I'd tell you where, but my Pinterest preschool board deleted so I have not idea where they came from, but they weren't my own!  (Yes you heard that right! DELETED!! GONE!! HOURS OF LESSON PLANS VANISHED INTO CYBERSPACE!!)
I will post later our adorable Brown Bears we made today as soon as I get them on my computer...I get to go hop on an airplane, by myself! Without children!  I think I will feel lost! And good luck daddy :)!!

OK, as promised here's the brown bears:
