Week 27 update: Yy is for Yellow

Give boys markers to color with and they'll make swords :)!!

These are our site words we have been working on, every day we read them and practice them.  Every week we add an new word.  I told the kids if they could memorize all the site words, they'd earn a free ice cream!! Now if my Pinterest board had not gotten deleted I would be able to tell you were these were from and so you could print them off...however I can't find them anywhere so I'm posting this picture in hopes you can read them and just write them out for them?

We continually work on our letters.  I really like this worksheet I found awhile back because the letters are outlined and the kids just seem to have an easier time staying in the lines rather than on the lines!! I found these on KidsTV123 which also happens to be and amazing YouTube channel for kids!! I say print a bunch of these off and have them practice while your making them lunch!!  They all did such a good job today! I was proud :)!

Yy is for everything yellow.  We made our Yy picture with all the things we could find yellow in my craft bucket...another great cleaning house project :)!!
