Day 2 of school...

I'm ecstatic to report, today the kids knew what to do and where to go and when, it was nice to see the flow of things already beginning!
Thank you parents for bringing in 'A' pictures for our alphabet journal.  I was so afraid we were all going to come with the same picture, but you're all so creative, I LOVE IT! We had an alligator, Aurora (Sleeping Beauty for all you mom's of all boys), artwork (I love it), apple pie, apples, an airplane with ants on it (perfect)...this is going to be a fun journal for the kids.  Fill free to come check it out any time and don't forget every Thursday bring a picture for the next letter.

Here are a few highlights from today:
Our Science/Art project for the day was a big hit! We discovered what happens when you mix colors.  Then the kids got to take coffee filters and with water colors made their own color blends. Next week we will turn them to flowers to take home.

Now, let me just share with you the quietest time of the day:

My 2 honorary students there on the right :)...maybe they should be the school's mascot!

  1. I'm absolutely loving the blog updates!!! Thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart! It really does mean the world to be able to see these great things happening in my daughter's life. Oakley was able to sing the A song to me and talked all about making apples and the color red, so keep doing what you're doing because it's working!!! You're making these kidos into smarties! Thanks! Can't wait to see more this year.
