Ee is for Eyes

Ewey gooey eyeballs!  What a fun activity this was for Ee right before Halloween :)! They loved to squish and squeeze these bags.  I hope you didn't end up with sticky goo anywhere in your house...!!! We read lots of Ee book and Halloween books this week in prep for the big candy day!

On Thursday we took some time to do fun Halloween stuff and make these super cute ghosts! We set it up as stations, first dip your feet in paint, then step on the paper and then on to the washing your feet bucket.  I'm proud to report we kept it very clean!! And didn't they turn out perfect?

Week 7: Ee is for eyes

OH blessed sunshine! I love fall days when we get these beautiful days!! It was so nice to spend our free time outside enjoying the warm sun this week!

The boys caught a spider!
They all begged for a picnic...I couldn't argue with that idea!!
Bug stamps on our spider web!
Ee is for googly eyes :)!!
We celebrated our first birthday this year!!

Week 7 updates: Ee is for Ella the Elegant Elephant

I love days like these! Where everyone is just happy to be together and just quietly read...The tension around here has been a little high.  I think not being able to go outside has been a little hard on everyone.  We still have lots of good moments though :)!!

This week is the letter: Ee the book for this week was perfect; Ella the Elegant Elephant.  A cute story about an elephant that goes to a new school and wears a giant red hat her grandma gave her for good luck.  Well all the kids made fun of her and her big hat.  The hat then ends up saving the day and...well I don't want to be a spoiler. I'll let you read the ending on your own!  Or you can ask your kidos!

Here are our elephants with their big hats!!
Because we don't get lots of outside we have very active music times.  So active on some days the kids get tired ;)!!  On this day I thought to myself...I'm glad I don't have an assistant, cause I am really making a fool of myself!!

At free time I try to always get out a few different activities...I love these dressup people and so do the kids! One problem, I only have one boy so the boys all hover over him!
