I loved our little I spy jars we made and I really hope no one opened their jars when they got home. I tired telling them over and over that they were suppose to be closed, because they were like a treasure hunt :)! I hope it worked...
The kids were so good during music and game time to help me! I told them I couldn't jump around and be crazy so they had to be the crazy ones this time! They didn't disappoint, they were happy to be extra silly :)!!
Thanks again everyone for being so understanding and supportive this past week. My surgery went great, there was no complications and it was indeed a quick recovery. Thanks for all the prayers and happy thoughts :)!! It was good to see all the kids' smiling faces on Thursday!!

Week 11: Ii is for ice cube painting!
We are continuing to learn our numbers, what they look like and their value! But this month we've also added patterns. We've been doing simple A-B patterns & the kids are doing great :)!
Here we are at free time making bend-a-Roo pictures or bend-a-Roo balls! I can't tell you how much time I spend undoing these balls and they go and make a ball again...I guess I can't win all my battles :)!
It warms my heart when they get together, without me, and pull together and start playing together! Love it!
They wanted to eat the ice...it did look pretty, but it's not eatable :)!! So I gave them each a bowl of regular ice from my freezer & they chomped on that while they painted!!

Week 11 updates: Ii is for Ira Sleeps Over
We had to throw a Christmas craft in, so this week was a prefect week since not a lot went along with my book, "Ira Sleeps Over." It's a cute book about this boy Ira, he goes to his first sleepover and his sister tells him he can't take his stuffed bear because his friend would make fun of him! He decides not to bring him but then of course gets scared and then come to find out, his friend has a special bear that he too sleeps with every night.
We all talked about all the special things we sleep with each night. Things that help us not to be scared at night and then of course we had to have a pajama party because that is just fun to wear your pj's to school!!! (Well almost all of us thought it'd be fun!)
This is a fun math game...you draw a card with a number on it and then you have to give your snowman that many
| How stinkin' cute are these kids on pajama day!?!? |
I'm sorry is this "paint" never dried :)! Yeah it looked cool and the kids loved it but it didn't want to dry...good ol' Pinterest ideas...gotta love em! Ours quickly found their way into the trash can...please don't tell my kids!!!
The kids loved it though, it was fun to paint with. It was just shaving cream and food coloring.
Another fun day in the life of a preschooler :)
