Nn: Noodles and Numbers

February is a fun month, so many cute valentines games and ideas! They are having fun with our heart sorting table and our valentines Bingo!

Noodle Necklaces turned out super cute and were a great fine motor skill activity!  Those noodles were even smaller than I excepted them to be, but it's ok, it worked and I thought the necklaces turned out really cute!

Here we are being crazy trying to shake those sillies out!! We had to do a lot of shaking if you know what I mean :)!!!

We started our number books awhile ago, I decided to finish them this week.  Nn is for numbers!

This is lunch time...not really sure what in the world is going on here but I decided to just give you all a glimpse of what lunch is like on a daily bases! They are so silly at lunch time they cracks me up!

Week 16: Nn is for Noodles

 This kids thought it was funny that we were gluing noodles on a piece of paper!

Nn is also for names.  We talked a lot about our names this week.  We talked about which letters are in our names and looked how everyone's name is different. Then I made them each their own name puzzle, they had to find the hearts that matched the letters in their names.  (I'm so blessed that I have a teenager that thought painting these 30 wood hearts was fun :)!!) Over all a fun week back :)!

Next week we aren't studying a letter. It's our lesson on friendship and love! Also, we will be making Valentines mailboxes in preparation for Thursday's party! So excited! I hope you all saw my email on Valentines.  Bring 6 Valentines and have your child sign their name on each of them, but don't write each individual preschoolers names on them!
Also I follow OC School District Closure schedule.  If we really do get a big storm and school is closed we are too. I usually go online to KATU and check for closures, but I'm sure any of the news stations have it online. If you ever have a question just text me!!

Week 16 updates: Nn is for The Napping House

 Look how smart we are sorting things by size, patterns by colors and learning our numbers!!!

 Here are our cool letter Nn made from noodles.  How fun are they?!

I teach that every letter has a friend.  There is a friend for every uppercase letter and a friend for every lowercase letter!  Today we played a matching game to find everyone's friend!  We did pretty good!

Nn is for numbers! We made a little number book and played a number game.  I could pick the number and they would give me that many muffins.  They did pretty good!
