Mm :)

These moons were messy...so of course the kids loved making them!! White paint with some four mixed in to the consistency of cottage cheese (in case you ever want to make a moon) and then push a round lid into your paint (water bottle or paint lid) and make some craters! Easy!

Mm is for Mitten Matches and Mitten Math!  Mitten Math was a little harder than I thought it was going to be, but after a few minutes they all got the hang of it.  They had to roll their die and then put that many mittens on their place mat.  If they got it right they got a sticker on their mat :)

Week 14: Ll is for Letters

L week was fun with lady bug math and working on all our letters! I found this cute Potato Head ABC book I think at Grocery Outlet and decided to dissemble it and laminate it for continued use!! It's awesome.  It's such a cute book and the kids had fun doing all the activities!!
I hope you all have had a chance to play Lady Bug Math.  It's a fun way to coordinate numbers and quantities. And then when they get that, it's great to teach early subtraction and addition skills.  "How many spots do I need to add to make our bug have 4 spots?" "How many spots do I need to take away to have 2 dots?"...you get the idea.  We did it this weekend and had fun playing with it.

Week 13: Kk is for Kisses

I thought about putting lipstick on the kids and having them kiss the paper but I figured the boys would not be fans for that :)!! So we opted for kiss stamps...they worked out fabulous.

I guess by now you have all gotten your Christmas ornament so this isn't spoiling the fun. Here they are drawing their self portrait.  I think they all did such a cute job, I loved them all!!

The kids during center time!! They had so much fun with these magnets!! Look at all those creations.  It was hard for me to get them to clean them up!

Birthday girls!! The 18th I guess is a popular day for a birthday around here :)
Our other Christmas project...cookie cutter stamps! So fun :)!
We started working on some different math games this week also.  Matching numbers with item and items to numbers.  They did great at both!!
This brings me sadness to see these girls say good-bye.  They were quite the 3-Musketeers!  Good-bye you little cutie, we all hope you make great new friends and have a safe move!! Come say hi if you are ever back in town!!
